This is my 12th year teaching school, my 11th year at Irondale Community School and my 9th year teaching Gifted Ed. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Linguistics (UAB), a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education (UAB), and a Master's Degree in Gifted Education (USA).
Personal Information
Mr. Smith and I have been married since 1983. We have one son, Tre, who is a junior at Mountain Brook High School. Tre is the place kicker for the Varsity football team! Go Spartans!!

Hobbies / Interests
Outside of teaching, my hobbies and interests are spending time with my family, computers, and reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I especially love Historical Fiction.
